You are my perfect love, my divine Valentine.

I love Valentine’s Day!  What’s not to love about a day dedicated solely to love?  I love love!  Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays; red, pink, purple glitter hearts, dark chocolate, gorgeous flowers, bubbly champagne, and love notes, OH MY!  I’m aware people have termed this lovely day “single awareness day” and I wholeheartedly disagree with them, because yours truly is single.  Needless to say, this single girl won’t be crying into a pint of Ben and Jerry’s asking “why am I alone?” because fact is, I’m not alone.  I will spend this beautiful day telling my family and friends how much I love them, loving every patient that enters my clinic, knowing I am fully and dearly loved, celebrating life’s blessings, and treasuring the greatest love story I’ll ever know – God’s love for us.

You call me yours

You claimed my heart as your own

You tell me I am fearfully and wonderfully made

You tell me you love me, everyday

Your love always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres

You are jealous for me because you crave my whole heart

You are patient with me when I am impatient

You forgive me and keep no records of wrongs

You never sleep and consequently are never upset when I call too late

You never hang up on me

You protect me

You love hearing from me; there is no such thing as calling you “too much”

You give the most thoughtful and generous gifts

Your love is constant and consistent, I’m the one who occasionally puts our relationship status as “complicated”, and even then, your love for me does not falter

You are faithful; daily, I am reminded of your goodness

You feel my hurt and you wipe away my every tear

You are enamored with me

You adore me

I am yours.
