In my Valentine’s Day post I shared that I was going to celebrate life’s blessings and that is exactly what I did! I hosted a Glitter-tastic Valentine’s Day Party for a few of my fabulous girlfriends!
Please allow me to set my humility aside and loudly boast about my awesome girlfriends. My girlfriends are
drop dead gorgeous, inside and out (y’all have seen pictures and y’all know I
am telling the truth!). Their hearts are
made of pure gold; if you’re down, they will arrive at your doorstep with pom
poms to cheer you up! They are
incredibly intelligent; one is even a brain surgeon, I’m not kidding, ridiculously smart. They are strong and confident because they
know their worth. They’re compassionate;
they never run out of hugs to give or wisdom to share.
They are way too much fun…wait, too much fun?! No such thing!! My girlfriends are one of a kind, precious
GEMS! And on Valentine's Day we celebrated being single and so loved, fully knowing that we won’t be single forever.
It was a night filled with gummy bears in champagne, chocolate
covered strawberries, energy balls, and lots of glitter. Each girl wore a tiara. Everyone received their favorite candy, a
ring pop, giant lip suckers, chocolate, a glittered initial, and a picture frame. I gave each girl a rose colored wine glass
and provided rhinestones, pearls, glitter and glue. The instructions were to decorate the wine glass uniquely. I told the girls that I will be toasting them with the glass that I decorate at their future wedding
as a reminder of God’s faithfulness! (Lord,
bless the men that capture their precious hearts!)
The next day one of my friends texted “Omg I’m going to cry. I was at Whole Foods and a nice lady said to
me, ‘You must have had a very special Valentine because you are beaming.’” It was a perfect night!
Shining because I am blessed,
Quinn
